Yakima 8004038 Review: Yakima HullRaiser Aero Rooftop Kayak Carrier with Straps. I have used these successfully for transport of my kayak. The boat loads easily and the rack cradles it well. The racks seem stable on the road. It has taken a bit for me to figure out how best to strap the boat. I've moved away from lines to the bumper and have gone to more robust side to side strapping.
